Senior Microsoft Foundry AI Architect (AI)

What you will do

• Design and build Microsoft Foundry platforms, applying best practices for security and architecture.
• Build and configure AI agents using Microsoft Foundry, Azure AI services, and generative AI technologies.
• Develop and test LLM-powered applications and agentic workflows.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing applications and technology platforms using APIs, SDKs, and cloud services.
• Apply software engineering practices including testing, version control, and CI/CD.
• Troubleshoot and optimize AI applications for performance, reliability, and scalability.

Requirements

• Experience designing architectures and clearly articulating technical decisions.
• Strong software engineering experience, preferably with Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, or related Azure AI technologies.
• Experience with generative AI, LLMs, or AI agents, plus API and SDK integrations.
• Programming experience with Python, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Understanding of cloud application development and modern engineering practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with other AI platforms, including Bedrock.
• Infrastructure as code experience with Terraform or Bicep.
• Knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vector databases or search, and Azure AI Search.
• Experience with prompt engineering, LLM application evaluation, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
