Project Engineer - Electrical (Modernisations) (Electrical Engineering)

Location: UK-wide, with travel and occasional overnight stays across the United Kingdom as required by projects

What you will do

• Coordinate activities, resources, tasks, costs, and progress reporting for modernisation and installation projects.
• Conduct project tasks independently and support the Project Manager, including taking responsibility during their absence.
• Lead sub-projects under the supervision of the Project Manager.
• Prepare safety documentation such as SSOW, SSA, RAMS, and lift planning documents, with training provided where required.
• Coordinate project teams, technicians, field supervisors, vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Identify concerns, escalate issues, monitor resolutions, and improve project coordination processes.

Requirements

• HNC or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience or involvement in engineering projects.
• Commercial acumen and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to adapt when problems occur.
• IT skills, including MS Office.
• Willingness and ability to travel across the UK and stay overnight when required.

• IOSH qualification.
