What you will do
- Manage and continuously develop occupational health, safety, and environmental activities at the site.
- Advise employees, managers, and plant management on HSE-related matters.
- Maintain and further develop integrated management systems in line with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and EMAS.
- Conduct risk assessments, inspections, accident analyses, machine acceptances, and substance evaluations.
- Analyze occupational accidents and HSE KPIs, prepare reports, and initiate improvement measures.
- Coordinate internal and external HSE representatives and communicate with authorities, insurers, professional associations, and corporate functions.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, natural sciences, or a comparable technical or scientific field.
- Qualification as a Health and Safety Specialist in accordance with § 7 ASiG.
- Experience with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, and/or other environmental and occupational health and safety management systems.
- Experience in machine safety and knowledge of relevant environmental and occupational health and safety laws, regulations, and standards.
- Structured, analytical, results-oriented working style with strong responsibility, assertiveness, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Good command of English is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is expected.
