Principal / Senior Engineer, Test Engineering, Technical Operations Management (Automotive Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Lead the transfer of wafer sort, burn-in, and final-test solutions from R&D into manufacturing.
• Debug, qualify, release, and sustain ATE test programs for high-volume production.
• Support silicon bring-up, characterization, correlation, production validation, and product release.
• Optimize test coverage, multi-site efficiency, test time, manufacturing readiness, and cost.
• Qualify and maintain probe cards, load boards, burn-in boards, sockets, and other test hardware.
• Act as the technical focal point for OSAT test and burn-in operations, supporting ramps, transfers, yield improvement, and production issue resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of semiconductor Test Engineering or Product Engineering experience for the Senior level, or 8 years for the Principal level.
• Experience developing and releasing ATE software and hardware, burn-in solutions, and product testing solutions for high-volume production.
• Experience managing product test operations with OSATs and supporting manufacturing qualification, ramp-up, and sustaining activities.
• Hands-on experience with wafer sort, burn-in, final test, silicon characterization, correlation, shmoo analysis, yield improvement, and failure analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and data-driven decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with the Advantest V93000/V93K SmarTest platform.
• Experience developing probe cards, load boards, and burn-in boards.
• Expertise in test coverage optimization, test time reduction, cost improvement, statistical methods, and test data analytics.
