Principal / Senior Engineer, Test Engineering, Technical Operations Management (Automotive Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Lead transfer of wafer sort, burn-in, and final-test solutions from R&D into manufacturing.
• Debug, qualify, release, and sustain ATE test programs for volume production, including silicon bring-up, characterization, correlation, and production validation.
• Optimize test coverage, multi-site efficiency, test time, manufacturing readiness, yield, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Qualify and maintain probe cards, load boards, burn-in boards, sockets, and other test hardware.
• Act as the technical focal point for OSAT test and burn-in operations, supporting qualification builds, product ramps, manufacturing transfers, and sustaining activities.
• Partner with Product Engineering, OSATs, and suppliers on qualification, yield improvement, test limits, screening strategies, production release, reliability, product changes, and technical issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5+ years of semiconductor industry experience for Senior Engineer or 8+ years for Principal Engineer in Test Engineering or Product Engineering.
• Experience managing product test operations with OSAT.
• Experience developing and releasing product testing solutions, including ATE software and hardware and burn-in, for high-volume production with OSAT is highly preferred.
• Hands-on, self-motivated team player with strong ownership and the ability to deliver in a dynamic, rapidly growing startup environment.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills for working across global and multicultural teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combining data-driven decisions with engineering judgment.

Nice to have

• Hands-on ATE test development, debugging, characterization, qualification, and production release experience for wafer sort, burn-in, and final test.
• Strong knowledge of the Advantest V93000/V93K SmarTest platform and test-program development.
• Test hardware development experience with probe cards, load boards, and burn-in boards.
• Expertise in silicon characterization, correlation, shmoo analysis, yield improvement, and failure analysis.
• Experience with OSAT qualification, production ramp-up, and high-volume manufacturing operations.
• Experience optimizing test coverage, reducing test time, and improving cost.
• Strong test data analytics and statistical methods skills.
