Test Systems Engineer, Test Excellence (Semiconductor)

Location: Singapore, Singapore. Onsite role with travel required 25% of the time; relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Identify test gaps using field failures, factory nonconformances, failure analysis, 8D findings, FMEA/FMECA risks, and test data.
• Translate failure mechanisms and operating conditions into measurable test requirements and supplier-executable specifications.
• Define functional, parametric, stress, burn-in, thermal, RF, high-voltage, leak, particle, interlock, and other system-representative tests.
• Own test solutions from feasibility and technical concept through specification, sourcing, build, bring-up, validation, and production deployment.
• Establish correlation, repeatability, reproducibility, measurement capability, calibration requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Deploy and sustain test systems at suppliers and Applied factories, monitor outcomes, and improve test effectiveness throughout the lifecycle.

Requirements

• Experience analyzing failures, risks, nonconformances, escapes, and test data to identify assurance gaps.
• Ability to develop measurable requirements, test specifications, statements of work, acceptance criteria, and validation approaches.
• Experience with system-representative testing, failure-mode detection, measurement capability, calibration, and production implementation.
• Ability to lead complex initiatives across suppliers, factories, Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Engineering, NPI Quality, Product Quality & Reliability, and business-unit teams.
• Ability to communicate technical conclusions, risks, decisions, and business impact clearly.
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time.
