What you will do

• Independently manage client consulting engagements from scoping through delivery, ensuring client satisfaction, quality, timelines, and budget.
• Develop strategies, recommendations, operating models, propositions, and business cases for financial advice and retail investment clients.
• Build trusted adviser relationships with senior client stakeholders and contribute to account management and business development.
• Analyse business needs, identify issues, and drive outcomes through collaborative delivery.
• Provide expertise across customer propositions, regulation, technology and AI transformation, investment platforms, and operating models.
• Manage project risks, commercial aspects, junior colleagues, and professional development activities.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience delivering consulting or change projects in a leading financial institution, consulting firm, or financial advice firm.
• Experience leading project or programme work, engaging senior stakeholders, and managing project resources.
• Significant experience across financial advice, investment platforms, or life and pension firms.
• Deep project experience in areas such as client or adviser proposition strategy, adviser productivity, administration operations, investment platforms, technology or AI transformation, or M&A integration.
• Experience managing commercial consulting engagement matters, including fee negotiations, scope management, and contract adherence.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, interpersonal, financial modelling, and business case development skills; business fluency in English and willingness to travel.
