Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations, New Verticals – Retail (South and Central)

hirify.global builds technology for delivery and operates a 3rd Party Retail business spanning grocery, convenience, pharmacy, and specialty retail.

What you will do

• Own regional topline and bottomline performance, including GOV, orders, merchant expansion, basket size, contribution margin, profitability, and cost efficiency.
• Partner with Finance on planning, forecasting, target setting, growth plans, expansion strategies, and investment priorities.
• Develop merchant expansion strategies and priority categories and markets with Retail and Key Account Management teams.
• Partner with Marketing on acquisition, retention, basket-size growth, and scalable playbooks across markets.
• Lead cross-functional projects from problem definition through execution and impact measurement.
• Use Cursor, Claude, Looker, Excel, and other BI tools to build dashboards, financial models, and strategic recommendations.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience in Strategy & Operations, management consulting, investment banking, technology companies, or high-growth retail/e-commerce.
• Experience with multi-country or regional business environments and merchant-facing or commercial teams is preferred.
• Advanced Cursor, Claude, and Excel skills, including financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis, plus experience with BI tools such as Looker.
• Strong structured problem-solving, prioritization, ownership, and cross-functional project management skills.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading initiatives across global, regional, and local teams.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required.
