(Senior) Manager, Digital Strategy & Delivery - Operations (m/f/d)

What you will do

• Define and evolve the digital roadmap for production, process performance, and quality across the operations business unit.
• Own initiatives end to end, from identifying plant-floor pain points and framing problems to solution design, delivery oversight, and production rollout.
• Shape the business side of the manufacturing solution landscape, including MES, process historians, and process analytics platforms.
• Sponsor AI/ML use cases such as process optimization, predictive quality, and soft sensors, owning business outcomes and value realization.
• Build alignment with plant managers, production and quality leaders, process engineers, IT, data science, and implementation teams.
• Track operational KPIs and ROI, make rollout decisions, remove delivery roadblocks, and drive digital-first ways of working in manufacturing.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in or serving the chemicals or process industry, with hands-on exposure to manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated manufacturing performance improvements with measurable operational impact through operational excellence, digital, or AI/ML solutions.
• Hands-on exposure to manufacturing technologies such as MES, process historians, and process analytics.
• Ability to own strategic roadmaps, troubleshoot delivery issues, and align senior production stakeholders.
• Familiarity with supply chain processes and planning systems is advantageous; Agile or product management certifications are a plus.
