Location: Hybrid in Hoofddorp or Utrecht, Netherlands

What you will do
- Provide Dutch legal guidance and support to multiple entities across the Netherlands.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including NDAs and contracts with banks, merchants, partners, and suppliers.
- Monitor Dutch and European regulatory developments and translate changes into updates to contracts, memoranda, workflows, and internal processes.
- Manage disputes, claims, and litigation processes using structured tracking systems.
- Assess the required legal scope for business initiatives and balance commercial momentum with risk mitigation.
- Coordinate legal support requests from Group Legal and advise on internal governance policies.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Dutch law and at least 4 years of professional legal experience.
- Fluent Dutch and English required.
- Proven experience in commercial contracting.
- Strong legal monitoring, analytical, research, and legal judgment skills.
- Ability to work accurately in fast-paced, regulated environments.
- Collaborative approach with strong independent decision-making and a proactive mindset.
Nice to have
- Experience at a large law firm or in fintech, payments, or banking.
- Experience in regulated financial environments.
- Corporate law or related regulatory expertise.
