TL;DR
Legal Counsel (Corporate/IT Law): Providing pragmatic, risk-based legal guidance for business operations in the Netherlands and across Europe with an accent on commercial, technology, and regulatory matters. Focus on drafting and negotiating complex IT agreements, managing strategic initiatives, and acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
Location: Must be based in Hoofddorp, Netherlands (Hybrid role).

What you will do
- Provide pragmatic legal advice on corporate, commercial, and technology-related matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial IT agreements with internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the business, balancing risk management with commercial objectives.
- Support strategic initiatives and high-impact legal projects across the European region.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to navigate regulatory requirements and business challenges.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with a Dutch law degree, LL.M., or equivalent legal qualification.
- Typically 5+ years of post-qualification experience in corporate, commercial, and IT law.
- Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
- Proven track record in drafting and negotiating complex, large-scale technology contracts.
- Background in a leading law firm or as in-house counsel within an international organization.
- Eligibility to obtain a VGB (Verklaring van Geen Bezwaar) security clearance is preferred.

- Proficiency in French or another major-market language.
