CTS Product Expert (Client Tax Services)

Location: TRC (Amsterdam - Treasury Center); hybrid working

What you will do

• Provide subject matter expertise on client tax domains including FATCA/CRS, US Withholding, DAC6, CESOP, and PARP.
• Translate tax regulations and policies into operational guidance, standards, and process instructions.
• Support consistent implementation across countries by addressing interpretation questions and assisting with complex cases.
• Identify and escalate execution risks, gaps, and inconsistencies to the CTS CoE & Oversight Lead.
• Contribute to governance, audit follow-up, issue remediation, control improvements, and knowledge-sharing content.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across CTO/KYC & CTS, Analytics, hirify.global, 2nd Line, and Tax, as well as external regulatory stakeholders.

Requirements

• University or postgraduate Master's degree in a relevant field related to tax, regulation, or a similar domain.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in client tax, financial regulation, compliance, risk management, or process design, preferably in financial services.
• Experience interpreting tax and regulatory requirements, including FATCA/CRS, US Withholding, DAC6, or CESOP, and providing actionable guidance.
• Experience supporting global or multi-country implementations and translating regulatory requirements into practical processes, controls, and standards.
• Experience collaborating with governance, risk, compliance, operations, and product-oriented teams while balancing services, tooling, data flows, and user needs.
• Experience contributing to audit responses, issue remediation, and control improvements.
• Strong capabilities in process design, standardisation, control embedding, product thinking, analytical problem solving, prioritisation, and issue escalation.
• Solid understanding of NFR frameworks, control environments, and audit expectations, with the ability to design scalable end-to-end processes, data flows, tooling requirements, and embedded controls.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in matrix organisations, professional judgement and independence within a defined expert scope, proactive ownership, continuous learning, and knowledge development.
• Experience balancing client, first-line, and second-line interests; hands-on team-player approach and organisational sensitivity.
• Fluent English.
