Distribution Manager

What you will do

• Oversee distribution and warehouse operations, including raw materials, finished goods, deliveries, inventory, and customer service alignment.
• Lead and develop the distribution team through training plans and standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate with Customer Service and transport providers to maintain timely, fit-for-purpose deliveries.
• Manage inventory control through accurate SAP processing, cycle counts, and variance investigations.
• Promote compliance with safety, cleanliness, operational excellence, and product quality standards.
• Contribute to development plans, CAPEX proposals, budgets, reporting, quality compliance, and complaint resolution.

Requirements

• Degree in logistics and supply chain management, business administration, operations management, industrial engineering, or transport and distribution management.
• Extensive experience managing warehouse and distribution operations, including staff supervision, inventory control, and logistics coordination.
• Hands-on experience in manual handling and warehouse operations.
• Experience with end-of-month reporting, variance investigations, and operational analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve operational targets under pressure.
• Current forklift and driver’s licences.
