Senior Demand and Supply Planner (FMCG)

Location: Sydney, Australia. Applicants must be qualified to work in Australia and may need to provide evidence of work authorization.

What you will do

• Create and maintain rolling 18-month consensus demand and supply plans using statistical models and planning systems.
• Challenge sales forecasts using historical data, market trends, seasonality, promotions, and strategic product priorities.
• Manage inventory targets, safety stock, freshness, shelf life, stock movements, and distribution-center requirements.
• Coordinate new product introductions, end-of-life transitions, co-packing requirements, and supply plan optimisation.
• Provide weekly feedback on supply risks and opportunities and contribute to the local Sales and Operational Planning process.
• Maintain SAP/APO/IBP master data, settings, planning uploads, documentation, and monthly system requirements.

Requirements

• Senior demand and supply planning experience with 5+ years of ERP knowledge, including SAP, APO, or IBP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field with statistical analysis or engineering coursework.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• At least 3 years of experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment, including retail account forecasting and supply chain management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive resolution of operational issues.
• Must be qualified to work in Australia.
