Senior Manager, IT Portfolio (IT Portfolio Management)

Location: Remote; Flex Designation: Anywhere. The role is associated with the Calabasas, California corporate location and may require up to 10% travel.

Salary: $159,600–$239,500 annually, depending on location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Develop and operate IT portfolio governance, PMO standards, project lifecycle methodologies, and documentation practices.
• Coordinate project intake, evaluation, prioritization, business cases, dependencies, risks, quality assurance, and methodology compliance.
• Lead annual IT roadmap planning, quarterly portfolio reviews, strategic planning inputs, and budget reviews with Finance and IT leadership.
• Prepare portfolio health reports, project status updates, budget forecasts, KPIs, executive reporting, and steering committee materials.
• Forecast resource capacity, monitor utilization, and coordinate portfolio inputs across Finance, IT, business leaders, and the Strategy team.
• Mentor and develop the IT project management community through coaching, training, standardized practices, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, project management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• PMP certification required; 8+ years of experience delivering complex programs in a PMO or portfolio management environment.
• Deep knowledge of portfolio management, project management, Agile, PMO, and steering committee best practices.
• Experience with organizational change management, high-visibility and high-risk initiatives, project budgets, resource planning, reporting, and performance metrics.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools, plus experience with project and portfolio management platforms.
• Strong executive communication, presentation, stakeholder management, analytical, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
