Manager, AI Business Analyst (AI)

What you will do

• Analyze and optimize life insurance business processes and identify high-value opportunities for AI-enabled improvements.
• Lead stakeholder discussions to define business and functional requirements aligned with organizational goals.
• Assess business value, expected benefits, feasibility, risks, and readiness for adoption.
• Prepare functional specifications, business requirement documents, user stories, use cases, experience journeys, and value maps.
• Manage change requests, governance, quality assurance, and collaboration with IT teams, vendors, partners, and business stakeholders.
• Support implementation through end-user training, ongoing support, and activities promoting AI adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in the life insurance industry, with a strong focus on business analysis or related roles.
• Strong business analysis, requirements gathering, documentation, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Understanding of AI, generative AI, automation, and agentic workflow concepts.
• Ability to translate business problems into AI-enabled use cases and measurable outcomes.
• Comprehensive understanding of Agile and Scrum software development methodologies.

Nice to have

• Agile methodology or Scrum certification.
• Experience delivering AI proofs of concept, pilots, or production implementations.
• Consulting firm experience.
• Knowledge of life insurance client operations and change management practices.
