Business Analyst (Insurance/Financial Services)

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, document, and manage business requirements for assigned projects and initiatives.
• Bridge business users and IT teams to align project objectives with effective technical solutions and processes.
• Drive user acceptance testing by preparing scenarios, test plans, test cases, quality checks, and daily UAT coordination.
• Monitor defect resolution and retesting, and recommend options for addressing issues, risks, dependencies, and change requests.
• Coach project teams and business users, and lead train-the-trainer activities through the Center of Excellence.

Requirements

• More than 3 years of hands-on business analysis experience, including end-to-end project work in complex, multinational, matrix organizations.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, influencing, analytical, problem-solving, planning, and implementation skills.
• Broad understanding of business practices and processes in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure, timeline-driven environment.
• Relevant business or tertiary qualifications and the ability to learn quickly.

Nice to have

• Business analysis experience in digital, compliance, or process reengineering initiatives.
