Senior UI/UX Designer (SaaS)

Location: Remote from Brazil, the United States, or Canada

Salary: $50,000–$145,000 USD annually, depending on location, experience, and qualifications; local compensation details may apply.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end evolution of a unified design system across multiple SaaS products.
• Create reusable foundations, components, design tokens, interaction patterns, and accessibility specifications.
• Partner with front-end engineers to connect design libraries with implementation and develop reusable components.
• Audit product interfaces, build component inventories, and prioritize design-system roadmaps.
• Establish governance for contributions, versioning, deprecation, change management, and documentation.
• Drive adoption through Figma guidance, enablement sessions, mentoring, and support for designers and developers.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of UX/UI design experience, including at least 3 years focused on design systems or design infrastructure.
• Experience scaling design systems with component libraries, design tokens, contribution models, and governance frameworks.
• Expert proficiency with Figma, including variants, Auto Layout, Variables, interactive prototyping, and library management.
• Strong understanding of front-end constraints and collaboration with engineers using HTML, CSS, React, Angular, or Web Components.
• Practical knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and accessible component design.
• Strong documentation, collaboration, influencing, mentoring, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills; a relevant design or HCI degree is preferred.
