Senior UX Designer (AI)

TL;DR

Senior UX Designer (AI): Designing user experiences for cloud-based audit, financial reporting, and data analytics products with an accent on AI-assisted making, design systems, accessibility, and human oversight in agentic workflows. Focus on leading user research, shaping cross-functional product direction, evaluating AI-generated interfaces, and mentoring designers through complex decisions under ambiguity.

Location: Remote within Canada; candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Salary: CAD 105,000–115,000 annual base salary, plus discretionary bonus and/or commission.

What you will do

• Design end-to-end user experiences for cloud-based audit, financial reporting, and data analytics products.
• Shape the use of AI-assisted design tools, including Figma Make, Claude Code, and Replit, while keeping user-centred judgment at the centre of decisions.
• Design human oversight moments and trigger conditions for agentic workflows in collaboration with Engineering.
• Evolve component-based design systems and ensure AI-generated interfaces meet accessibility and quality standards.
• Lead user research, usability testing, AI-assisted synthesis, prototyping, and cross-functional product discussions.
• Mentor junior and intermediate designers and drive collaboration across product areas and stakeholder groups.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional UX experience and a portfolio showing leadership, decision-making under ambiguity, and design outcomes.
• Fluency with Figma Make, Claude Code, Replit, Figma, and related design and prototyping tools.
• Experience with AI-assisted workflows, responsible AI principles, human oversight, accountability, transparency, and user control.
• Experience planning and leading end-to-end user research and usability testing programs.
• Substantial experience with design systems and accessibility standards, including evaluating AI-generated components.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada, along with strong communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills.
