Software Solutions Architect (AI)

Location: Onsite in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States

Salary: USD $165,000–$195,000 per year, plus bonus or incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Provide solution architecture and technical guidance across multiple projects and engineering teams.
• Design scalable, low-latency applications and simplify complex technical problems into maintainable solutions.
• Lead delivery of integrations, SSO, security capabilities, and customizations from requirements through implementation.
• Guide cloud platform migrations and define target architectures, standards, reusable components, and frameworks.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and lead hands-on proofs of concept.
• Scale AI-assisted development practices, coach engineers on prompt engineering, and establish responsible AI governance across the SDLC.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience with distributed and cloud platforms.
• 5+ years of architecture experience building complex, highly scalable, low-latency applications.
• Professional experience with C# and/or Java, server-side .NET, REST, web services, SQL, NoSQL, RabbitMQ, and Kafka.
• Experience with IaaS, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, public cloud providers, mission-critical services, operational metrics, Agile, and TDD.
• Technical leadership experience, including mentoring engineers, growing high-performing teams, and coding to drive solutions.
• Demonstrated experience with GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development, including prompt engineering, code validation, security, use-case implementation, and governance.
