Manufacturing Engineer I (Medical Technology)

What you will do

• Design manufacturing processes, procedures, production layouts, equipment installations, machining operations, and material-handling systems.
• Arrange machinery within plant facilities to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Define operating sequences and procedures for fabricating tools and equipment that affect product performance.
• Adapt machine and equipment designs to factory and production conditions.
• Incorporate inspection and testing requirements into production plans and develop processes suitable for statistical process control.
• Inspect machinery, equipment, and tools; investigate deficiencies; and initiate corrective actions to support product quality and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree.
• No relevant experience is required.
• Ability to work as an entry-level individual contributor under close supervision.
• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques, equipment utilization, production processes, and process compliance.
• Ability to identify and address manufacturing problems and make minor changes to systems and processes.
