TL;DR
Module Equipment Technician (Manufacturing Equipment): Maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and installing assembly and test equipment at Intel's semiconductor manufacturing plant with an accent on equipment performance, preventive maintenance, and production support. Focus on analyzing equipment data, executing controlled experiments and configuration changes, and supporting factory ramp-up activities.

Location: On-site in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, at the Saigon High Tech Park facility

What you will do

  • Troubleshoot, repair, convert, calibrate, install, and perform preventive maintenance on assembly, test, and production equipment.
  • Analyze equipment control points and related data to improve tool performance and resolve module and equipment issues.
  • Prepare system failure reports, update specifications, and create new maintenance and performance specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering, construction teams, and suppliers on experiments, upgrades, data collection, equipment service, and configuration changes.
  • Support factory ramp-up activities, including tool installation, deinstallation, relocation, and conversion according to design requirements.
  • Follow training plans, complete required training, and train other employees when assigned.

Requirements

  • Technical college diploma in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, or a related technical discipline.
  • Hands-on equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair experience is advantageous.
  • English at pre-intermediate level or above is required for workplace communication and understanding technical documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a team.
  • Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, 48 hours per week, and overtime when required.
  • Strong commitment to operations, safety, quality, discipline, and adapting to schedule changes.
