Engineering Technician (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Evaluate production metrics and improve manufacturing processes, productivity, first-pass yield, workflow, workstation layout, and assembly methods.
• Ensure processes, equipment, and products comply with safety and quality standards, with a strong focus on operator ergonomics.
• Develop predictive and preventive maintenance programs and respond to line stoppages to reduce downtime.
• Support product and process validation, verification testing, test execution, and technical report generation.
• Conduct technical, customer, product, and regulatory research; develop 3D CAD concepts; prototype and test engineering solutions.
• Support quality audits, corrective actions, customer complaints, facility maintenance, equipment implementation, and FMECA activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of hands-on practical engineering experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods.
• Experience using basic measurement tools such as calipers, height gauges, and pin gauges.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, organization, attention to detail, teamwork, and deadline-management skills.
• Ability to exercise original judgment and contribute to creative, open-minded solutions in a group environment.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or a similar field.
