Mission Analyst (Automotive)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; requires local driving and travel, including air travel and multi-day missions across the U.S.

Hourly pay: $29.15–$43.73 USD

What you will do

• Drive prototype test vehicles on local missions of up to 300–400 miles and selected multi-day U.S. trips.
• Perform vehicle startup, engagement, disengagement, shutdown, and development-testing procedures.
• Execute testing under strict safety and compliance protocols while representing the organization professionally in public environments.
• Diagnose software, hardware, physical, and operational issues; assemble, modify, and repair prototype assets.
• Support engineering teams with design reviews, demonstrations, prototype builds, troubleshooting, and configuration documentation.
• Analyze vehicle and product performance and communicate findings to developers and stakeholders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus two years of employment experience; an associate or bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Valid driver's license in the state of residence and a driving record that meets hirify.global requirements.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States; employment eligibility verification is required.
• Ability to pass ten-panel drug screening and criminal background checks before employment and periodically thereafter.
• Comfort working long hours while driving and in close quarters, with strong reliability, professionalism, and focus.
• Technical computer proficiency, including command-line interfaces, terminal commands, GitHub, troubleshooting, and work-management tools such as Jira and Slack.

• Experience in technical driving, fleet operations, or vehicle testing environments.
