Staff Product Manager (Connectivity)

Location: Full-time onsite at the Irving, Texas office, United States. Domestic relocation assistance is available. The role may require up to 20% travel.

Salary: $147,760.00–$221,640.00 per year.

What you will do

• Define and evolve the connectivity platform roadmap for machines, job sites, digital products, and autonomous systems.
• Evaluate satellite, cellular, private LTE/5G, Wi-Fi, mesh networking, edge computing, industrial IoT, and related connectivity architectures.
• Partner with architecture and engineering leaders to shape machine connectivity, site infrastructure, edge processing, data transport, and cloud integration.
• Define requirements and strategy for telemetry, health monitoring, fleet management, autonomy, and customer-facing connectivity data pipelines.
• Coordinate multiple engineering teams, vendors, operations, and business stakeholders while managing dependencies, risks, milestones, and technical decisions.
• Develop relationships with satellite providers, carriers, hardware vendors, IoT platforms, cloud providers, startups, and innovation partners.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product management, technical product management, systems engineering, network engineering, connectivity engineering, or technical program management.
• Demonstrated expertise in one or more areas including satellite communications, Starlink deployments, cellular networking, private LTE/5G, industrial networking, wireless infrastructure, edge computing, telematics, or IoT ecosystems.
• Experience defining strategy and execution plans for highly technical platforms while balancing customer needs, engineering constraints, and business objectives.
• Ability to understand complex ecosystems spanning embedded systems, networking infrastructure, edge computing, cloud platforms, data engineering, security, and compliance.
• Experience coordinating large-scale technical initiatives and communicating architecture decisions, technical tradeoffs, and strategic recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, telecommunications, or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience with connected equipment, industrial automation, telematics, autonomous systems, or industrial IoT solutions.
• Experience implementing satellite connectivity in remote or challenging environments.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, telemetry platforms, streaming architectures, event-driven systems, and large-scale data pipelines.
• Experience evaluating technology vendors, strategic partnerships, business cases, and investment recommendations for emerging technologies.
