Location: Remote within the United States; the role is associated with the San Francisco Bay Area.
Salary: $166,175–$195,500 annual base salary, plus potential equity and performance-based compensation.

What you will do
- Own and execute a multi-year roadmap for connected hardware platforms from concept through launch and end-of-life.
- Define product strategy using customer research, market intelligence, operational data, competitive analysis, and business priorities.
- Engage enterprise customers and operational executives through discovery meetings, field visits, interviews, and executive briefings.
- Manage revenue growth, attach rates, cost targets, margins, and business cases for new hardware products.
- Align Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Engineering, and software product teams around a unified hardware strategy.
- Lead validation, launch readiness, go-to-market activities, and mentoring for early-career product managers.
Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience, including significant experience with enterprise-grade, cloud-connected hardware; 10+ years is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical discipline.
- Track record of launching commercially successful enterprise IT, IoT, or connected hardware products.
- Experience managing large-scale commercial product lines, ideally involving $100M+ in company or product-line revenue.
- Strong business acumen, customer orientation, communication skills, ownership, and cross-functional leadership.
- Knowledge of automotive and heavy-duty vehicle connectivity, including CAN bus, OBD-II/J1939, telematics, sensors, wireless technologies, and edge AI, is highly desirable.
Nice to have
- Software or hardware engineering background with a transition into product management or an MBA.
- Experience with contract manufacturing, FCC and PTCRB certifications, carrier requirements, and global supply chain operations.
