Collision Mechanic (Automotive)

Location: 2201 S Wabash St, Denver, Colorado 80231, USA

Salary: USD 30–40 per flat-rate hour, based on experience and certifications.

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, suspension, steering, brake, and drivetrain components on collision-damaged vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles for hidden mechanical damage and identify additional repairs required.
• Remove, replace, and reinstall components as part of collision repairs.
• Perform diagnostic testing with scan tools and other automotive equipment.
• Follow manufacturer repair procedures and dealership safety and quality standards.
• Document completed repairs and communicate additional repair needs to the Body Shop Manager and relevant team members.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional automotive technician experience; collision or body shop experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues and using automotive diagnostic tools.
• ASE or I-CAR certification is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and pass a background check, motor vehicle record review, and drug screening.
