Associate Consultant, Generative AI

Location: New York, NY, USA; consultants in primary market offices are expected to live within commuting distance and attend the office at least three days per week.

Annual base salary: $80,000–$110,000, plus a discretionary performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Design, build, fine-tune, deploy, and maintain LLM and generative AI solutions.
• Develop applications using models such as Claude, GPT, Gemini, Llama, and Mistral.
• Implement RAG architectures, advanced prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and model evaluation frameworks.
• Support solution architecture for scalable, secure, compliant AI applications.
• Apply MLOps practices including CI/CD, versioning, monitoring, cloud deployment, and production maintenance.
• Research emerging GenAI approaches, document best practices, and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or an equivalent field.
• Recent graduation within the past two years.
• Strong Python programming skills and familiarity with a GenAI framework such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Foundational knowledge of NLP, vector embeddings, and semantic search, plus exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Claude Certified Architect – Foundations certification is required, or candidates must demonstrate the ability to obtain it within one week of hire. Employment visa or work authorization sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Experience with agentic AI systems, vector databases, MCP, open-source LLM fine-tuning, Docker, Git, or CI/CD workflows.
