AI/ML Engineer (Generative AI)

Location: Minneapolis, MN, United States (Hybrid)

Salary: $105,000–$130,000 per year

hirify.global is establishing an AI Center of Excellence that supports AI solutions across the organization.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning, generative AI, and agentic AI solutions for business use cases.
• Build cloud-native AI/ML pipelines covering data ingestion, training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Develop RAG and multimodal document-processing workflows using platforms such as AWS Textract and Bedrock.
• Design MCP hosts, clients, and servers, as well as interoperable AI agents using MCP and Google A2A.
• Create automated LLM testing and regression suites to detect model drift and prompt breakage.
• Partner with data scientists, architects, product managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams while providing technical mentorship.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience designing and deploying real-world ML/AI solutions.
• Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with LLM APIs, ML/AI libraries, prompt engineering, context construction, and grounding strategies.
• Experience building RAG solutions for unstructured documents, including emails, office documents, PDFs, and webpages.
• Experience with MCP, REST APIs, intelligent document processing or OCR, and enterprise API integrations.
• Deep AWS experience, including Lambda, Bedrock, Step Functions, API Gateway, IAM, SageMaker, ECS, and S3.
• Knowledge of MLOps, data engineering, SQL, feature engineering, responsible AI, governance, observability, Docker, and orchestration tools.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related technical field.
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks, open-source AI/ML projects, published research, or cloud AI/ML certifications.
• Experience in highly regulated industries such as healthcare or finance.
