Director, Project Management Office (Financial Services)

Location: Westlake, TX; Austin, TX; or Omaha, NE. Onsite four days per week is required.

Salary: $129,000–$215,000 per year, plus bonus or incentive opportunities.

hirify.global provides financial services and operates a Project Management Office within its Client Service & Support organization.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of project managers across Client Service & Support portfolios.
• Drive portfolio strategy, work intake, prioritization, resource planning, interdependencies, and execution.
• Build and manage integrated delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, commitments, risks, and issues.
• Establish and reinforce PMO standards, tools, methodologies, governance frameworks, and reporting practices.
• Influence executives, sponsors, technology, product, and delivery leaders to align execution with business outcomes.
• Lead change management and introduce scalable process improvements that increase delivery consistency and transparency.

Requirements

• 7+ years of project or program management experience, including at least 3 years managing complex cross-functional strategic or transformational initiatives.
• 5+ years in leadership roles with experience coaching and developing talent.
• Strong stakeholder influence, executive management, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, and other project management methodologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, and Power BI.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience; financial services, corporate strategy, consulting, or related industry experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 or 66 licenses.
• Experience building project governance frameworks and reporting tools.
• Expertise with SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Confluence, and Smartsheet.
