Manager, Industry Engagement & Platforms (Finance)

Location: New York, NY; hybrid work arrangement in the United States

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Execute relationship-led engagement platforms involving senior practitioners, investment firms, sponsors, CFA Societies and internal partners.
• Develop event research, themes, agendas and reusable content from ideation through live execution.
• Identify, evaluate, recruit and brief senior speakers and contributors.
• Serve as a front-line relationship and delivery contact for selected senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate delivery across Marketing, Community, Societies, Research & Policy, sponsors and event partners.
• Monitor reputational, content and relationship risks and use feedback and performance data to improve programmes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in project or programme management, event programming, client relationship management, industry engagement or a related professional services or events environment.
• Experience managing senior stakeholder or client relationships with strong judgement, responsiveness and communication.
• Understanding of investment-industry themes and trends, preferably from financial services, investment events, professional education, research, publishing or member engagement.
• Experience with event programming, content strategy, agenda development, speaker engagement or programme delivery.
• Ability to work independently, influence without formal authority and coordinate multiple complex initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with credibility among senior-level stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with investment-industry events, financial media, professional associations, member organizations or CFA Society partnerships.
• Exposure to sponsorship, peer-to-peer communities, senior practitioner networks or executive engagement programmes.
• Familiarity with audience feedback, event metrics, content risk management or data-informed programme improvement.
