Technical Support Engineer (Automation/Mechatronics)

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia; rotating weekday and weekend shifts, with weekend shifts performed from home

What you will do

• Support the technical helpdesk and resolve customer and operational technical issues by phone and email.
• Respond to queries, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, and implement solutions.
• Support product testing, coordinate test requests, and ensure timely delivery.
• Operate the virtual studio for technical training, remote demonstrations, and product support.
• Coordinate product-testing logistics with overseas sales offices and work with the Market Manager.
• Collaborate with the USA helpdesk team to improve support processes and team development.

Requirements

• Completed technical education in automation or mechatronics.
• At least 2 years of experience in service or maintenance support.
• Fluent English is required.
• Availability for rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays according to rotation.
