Manager, Accounting

Location: Hybrid role based in Lone Tree, Colorado, or Omaha, Nebraska

Salary: USD $100,000–$140,000 per year, plus bonus or incentive opportunities.

hirify.global provides financial services and operates a finance organization responsible for accounting and reporting across bank subsidiaries and trust companies.

What you will do

• Manage journal entries, reconciliations, and accounting for investment and derivatives portfolios across multiple legal entities.
• Prepare net interest revenue variance analysis, monthly forecasts, financial close schedules, and regulatory reporting schedules.
• Document cash flow, fair value, and portfolio layer method hedging relationships.
• Partner with treasury, finance, technology, accounting policy, auditors, and regulatory reporting teams on products, policies, and reporting questions.
• Test system functionality, investigate reconciling items, and implement technology enhancements and process automation.
• Maintain SOX controls, lead discussions with the SOX compliance team, and support internal audit reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• At least 5 years of GAAP accounting or finance experience; securities accounting experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with operational accounting, treasury, and accounting systems in a high-transaction-volume environment.
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects of varying scope and complexity.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Banking, financial services, or treasury experience.
• PeopleSoft or other ERP experience.
• Alteryx, SQL, or similar data tools experience.
