What you will do

• Implement, maintain, and improve US product compliance processes for imported toys, maternity products, textiles, and consumer goods.
• Work with Design, Supply Chain, Quality, Product, US Commercial teams, suppliers, laboratories, and external partners throughout the product lifecycle.
• Manage product safety testing, certifications, labelling, product registrations, import clearance, warnings, and launch approvals.
• Audit labels, test reports, certification documents, material safety risks, and compliance archives.
• Resolve non-compliance issues through corrective actions and ensure requirements are met before production, import, and launch.
• Monitor regulatory developments and optimize SOPs, risk lists, regulatory matrices, and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Experience in product compliance, quality compliance, or cross-border import compliance within soft toys, maternity, textiles, or consumer goods.
• End-to-end experience managing compliance systems for imported consumer goods entering the US market.
• In-depth knowledge of US federal and state requirements, including CPSC, CPSIA, ASTM, Children's Product Certificates, Proposition 65, chemical restrictions, labelling, registrations, customs, and import requirements.
• Ability to independently audit complex labels, review testing and certification documents, assess material and chemical risks, and solve product safety and import compliance issues.
• Strong project management, prioritization, risk analysis, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Meticulous approach, systematic thinking, growth mindset, and the ability to manage complex issues through to resolution.

Nice to have

• Experience coordinating compliance matters with overseas teams, suppliers, external partners, and relevant authorities.
• Experience with Pennsylvania stuffed toy registration requirements and other state-specific product registrations.
