What you will do

• Lead, direct, and train members of the Food Label group.
• Review and validate food label work for compliance with United States and Canadian regulations, guidelines, and internal policies.
• Review nutritional labels and provide written results to clients or upload results to client databases.
• Answer client technical questions related to label reviews and food regulations.
• Manage hiring, performance reviews, employee development, and ongoing guidance for label review staff.
• Oversee department processes, investigate quality issues, and coordinate corrective actions and follow-up.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or another relevant science discipline.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of data reporting, technical requirements, and food regulations.
• Knowledge of LIMS systems.
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced professional environment.
• Strong language, mathematical, reasoning, and computer skills.
