Rehabilitation Consultant - Occupational Therapist (Occupational Rehabilitation)

What you will do

• Manage rehabilitation caseloads with support from Rehabilitation Assistants.
• Assist clients with injury or health conditions to achieve health and return-to-work outcomes.
• Liaise with employers, case managers, medical professionals, and insurers to coordinate rehabilitation goals and provide clinical updates.
• Work across workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, and Department of Veterans’ Affairs schemes.
• Conduct activities-of-daily-living assessments in clients’ homes and communities, recommending equipment, home modifications, and support services.
• Prepare timely reports with findings, recommendations, and clinical reasoning.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
• Full professional registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist, or eligibility to obtain registration.
• Strong communication, time management, compassion, kindness, and empathy.
• Current driver’s licence and access to a personally owned car with comprehensive insurance.
• Previous occupational rehabilitation experience is regarded but not required.
• New graduates are welcome and supported through hands-on learning and career development.
