Senior Occupational Therapist

Location: North Canberra region, ACT, Australia; work includes home, community visits, and access to office and clinic spaces.

What you will do

• Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely occupational therapy services.
• Assess developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function using clinical observations and standardised assessments.
• Interpret assessment findings and formulate individualized treatment goals.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions that support participant quality of life and goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinicians and maintain compliance with current legislation.
• Support the development of graduates and early career clinicians through mentoring.

Requirements

• Current Occupational Therapy membership with AHPRA.
• Professional experience as an Occupational Therapist or Senior Occupational Therapist beyond graduation.
• Commitment to community-based disability support.
• Strong time management and organisational skills for managing a varied caseload.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Interest in mentoring graduates and early career clinicians.
