What you will do

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for enterprise Wi-Fi infrastructure solutions.
• Build, configure, and maintain wireless test environments, including racks, access points, controllers, switches, routers, and related equipment.
• Perform functional, interoperability, scalability, performance, reliability, and security testing across Wi-Fi standards from 802.11a through 802.11ax.
• Analyze packet captures and network traffic with Wireshark and troubleshoot connectivity, roaming, authentication, throughput, latency, and performance issues.
• Develop Python automation tools and scripts, improve test coverage, and support CI/CD testing and lab infrastructure improvements.
• Collaborate with software, firmware, hardware, and systems engineering teams on defect investigation, root cause analysis, documentation, and performance optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on Wi-Fi infrastructure testing experience, including rack build-outs and networking equipment deployment.
• Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi protocols, wireless networking principles, TCP/IP, and enterprise Wi-Fi infrastructure.
• Strong Python programming skills for network applications, automation tools, or test frameworks.
• Experience with Wi-Fi troubleshooting, performance analysis, real-time traffic analysis, Wireshark, and Linux/Unix environments.
• Knowledge of WPA2, WPA3, EAP, and 802.1X authentication and security protocols, plus strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E, wireless controllers, enterprise access points, or cloud-managed networking solutions.
• Familiarity with iPerf, IxChariot, Spirent, or comparable network performance testing platforms.
• CWNA, CWNP, CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent wireless and networking certifications.
