Systems Test Engineer (AI/HPC)

Location: Onsite in the United States; salary range specified for Minnesota and Wisconsin. Must be a US Citizen.

Salary: USD 106,000–243,000 annual base salary in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

What you will do

• Validate integrated HPC and AI system configurations across servers, accelerators, storage, networking, firmware, Linux operating systems, and management interfaces.
• Translate product requirements and feature changes into test strategies, plans, and release-readiness assessments.
• Analyze, debug, and drive resolution of complex system integration issues with engineering, product, program, and vendor teams.
• Support Linux operating system certification and submission activities with Red Hat, SUSE, and Ubuntu.
• Coordinate local and remote lab testing, automated test execution, result triage, and validation process improvements.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers and support onshore and offshore test teams.

Requirements

• US citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
• At least 6 years of experience in systems engineering, software engineering, test engineering, platform validation, or a related technical role.
• Hands-on experience with HPC and AI platforms, complex server, storage, networking, firmware, and operating system environments.
• Strong Linux knowledge, including Red Hat, SLES, and Ubuntu, plus experience with test strategy development, troubleshooting, and automated test execution.
• Bash scripting experience is required; strong written and verbal communication skills are also required.

Nice to have

• Python for test support, log analysis, and validation efficiency improvements.
• Knowledge of Redfish commands, RESTful APIs, and JSON.
