Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, or Chile; availability during Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours.

hirify.global is connecting this role with a Miami-based private investment firm focused exclusively on the U.S. healthcare industry and operating a portfolio of four healthcare companies.

What you will do

• Design and maintain firm-level dashboards that provide leadership visibility into portfolio performance.
• Build and manage data pipelines and system integrations across four U.S. healthcare businesses.
• Develop AI-assisted workflow automations to reduce manual operational work.
• Lead project-based engagements to assess systems, identify gaps, build internal tooling, and hand it off to portfolio companies.
• Recommend prioritized solutions for data and workflow gaps.
• Maintain the reliability of systems built across the firm and portfolio companies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Full-stack ownership, including backend logic and front-end data presentation.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and JSON/REST APIs.
• Experience with Retool, Metabase, or React-based dashboards, as well as ETL and data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, prompt pipelines, or agent-based automation.
• Ability to work independently across multiple business contexts and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Background in healthcare operations or private equity.
