QA Automation Engineer (Playwright)

What you will do

• Collaborate with product managers, software architects, and developers on release planning and software design.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and web application test suites.
• Create test strategies covering manual and automated scenarios, including exploratory, functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Build and maintain Playwright-based automation tooling and end-to-end tests.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and maintain the related workflows.
• Create dashboards and reporting metrics to improve release quality.

Requirements

• Typically 5+ years of software testing experience with a strong focus on test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end test automation.
• Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies, test planning, test execution, defect reporting, and issue tracking.
• Understanding of software development principles and Agile methodologies; experience with React, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and proficiency with Git.
• Fluency in English and availability to work from Portugal.

Nice to have

• Experience with load, stress, or performance testing.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
• ISTQB or ISEB certification.
