Junior QA Engineer (Playwright)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work with up to 3 remote days per week. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Validate features delivered during agile sprints with senior QA professionals and business analysts.
• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases.
• Help build and expand a non-regression test automation framework with Playwright.
• Track, investigate, and document defects in Jira.
• Participate in Scrum planning, daily stand-ups, and review sessions.
• Develop practical knowledge of web applications, APIs, and Trade Finance workflows.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience or a strong interest in software testing, QA, or related IT roles.
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum.
• Knowledge of manual testing, test cases, regression testing, and defect reporting.
• Basic knowledge of web browsers, forms, and APIs.
• Fluent English is required.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or Trade Finance.
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
• Exposure to Selenium or Cypress.
• QA or automation testing certifications.
