Senior Playwright QA Engineer (French)

Location: Hybrid in Lisbon or Porto, Portugal, with up to 3 remote days per week. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in Europe.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated tests with Playwright, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Manage test plans, cases, and executions in Xray for Jira, maintaining traceability from requirements to defects.
• Perform exploratory, functional, regression, integration, and REST API testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts in French and English to define acceptance criteria.
• Document and track defects in Jira and support timely resolution.
• Integrate automated tests into GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Jenkins while promoting QA best practices.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in QA engineering or software testing.
• Strong Playwright automation experience with Node.js, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Xray and Jira, plus solid knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs with Postman, Bruno, or Playwright.
• Proficiency with Git and strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Fluent French and professional English are required; candidates must have the legal right to work in Europe.

Nice to have

• BDD experience with Cucumber or Gherkin.
• Performance or load testing experience with k6 or Playwright.
• ISTQB or an equivalent QA certification.
