Sr Manager, Technology Consultant- Advisor Services (RIA Technology)

Location: Remote within the United States, with approximately 30% travel. Preference is given to candidates in Westlake, Texas, or Orlando, Florida; California is also listed.

Salary: USD $95,100–$157,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonus or incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Partner with registered investment advisors to define technology strategies and roadmaps aligned with business and client experience goals.
• Lead discovery sessions and create customized Firm Design Blueprints using Schwab’s consulting methodology.
• Assess current and desired technology stacks, including Schwab and third-party solutions.
• Evaluate CRM, portfolio management, trading, financial planning, and other RIA technology providers.
• Lead implementation support, including integrations, data migration, staff training, and client onboarding.
• Provide post-launch consulting, practice management resources, benchmarking insights, and ongoing technology optimization.

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in the RIA industry and its technology platforms, integrations, and third-party solutions.
• Experience assessing, recommending, and implementing technology solutions for client experience and operational efficiency.
• Strong project management skills and experience coordinating complex implementations and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts as business strategies.
• 7+ years of experience in business operations, technology consulting, or technology sales within financial services or the RIA sector.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

• Advanced degree or certifications in technology or financial services.
• Experience evaluating technology providers with emphasis on integration, scalability, and regulatory considerations.
