Senior Clinical Compliance Auditor

Location: Remote from Brazil, Mexico, Panama, Chile, Argentina, or Colombia; at least 4 hours of overlap with U.S. Central Time required

What you will do

• Design and operate recurring internal audits, including pre-bill, post-bill, monthly sampling, and risk-triggered chart reviews.
• Audit ABA clinical documentation against payer and state Medicaid requirements, including treatment plans, reassessments, authorizations, supervision, provider accuracy, and time or unit records.
• Calculate error rates, identify root causes, and maintain requirements for Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, and South Dakota.
• Operate the Brellium audit platform, review AI flags, manage rule sets, and build audit dashboards and KPIs.
• Track CPT and payer policy changes and convert them into templates, workflows, training, and audit rules.
• Prepare external audit records, rebuttals, appeals, corrective action plans, and documentation training materials.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in U.S. healthcare compliance, clinical auditing, or medical coding and documentation review.
• Experience supporting Medicaid or MCO audit responses, including records preparation, rebuttals, or appeals.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Medicaid documentation and medical-necessity standards.
• Excellent written English for payer-ready summaries and leadership reports.
• Experience with EHR or practice-management systems and data tools for sampling, error tracking, and reporting.
• Strong integrity, discretion, HIPAA compliance, and the ability to work remotely with at least 4 hours of U.S. Central Time overlap.

Nice to have

• CPC, COC, CPMA, or CHC certification.
• U.S. healthcare RCM, coding, or audit services experience.
• ABA compliance or auditing experience, especially with CPT 97151–97158.
• Experience with multi-state Medicaid, Centene/Iowa Total Care, Molina, CentralReach, or Brellium.
