Senior Counsel (Fintech)

Location: US - Atlanta, GA; at least 3 days per week in the office required

Salary: $219,200–$350,700 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentive payments where applicable.

What you will do

• Provide legal support for hirify.global’s Risk and Security Intelligence Solutions organization, including fraud, risk, identity, and authentication products.
• Advise business leaders on product development, launches, corporate actions, commercial transactions, and business initiatives.
• Draft, negotiate, and complete complex commercial agreements while supporting ongoing business relationships.
• Support the proposed BioCatch acquisition through integration planning, regulatory coordination, pre-closing obligations, and post-close integration execution.
• Manage regulatory matters, including approval conditions, jurisdiction-specific assessments, antitrust considerations, and changing regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with global legal, compliance, and business teams and coordinate outside counsel when required.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree, 8 years with an advanced degree, or 3 years with a PhD.
• J.D. degree or international equivalent, with strong academic credentials.
• Valid license to practice in the relevant state or ability to become registered as in-house counsel in good standing.
• Experience in payments, financial services, technology, or fintech, including complex global and cross-jurisdictional projects.
• Extensive experience with corporate transactions, commercial arrangements, and drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Working knowledge of privacy and competition laws, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and clients independently.

Nice to have

• 12 or more years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 8–10 years with an advanced degree.
• Experience with transactions subject to antitrust or regulatory review.
