Location: Pittsburgh, PA, USA; occasional travel to project sites, township meetings, or the state capital may be required.

What you will do
- Track state and local legislation, rulemaking, policy developments, permits, regulatory deadlines, and public comment periods.
- Prepare briefing materials, one-pagers, talking points, public comments, permit applications, exhibits, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain permit tracking logs, status dashboards, contact databases, compliance records, and reporting materials.
- Coordinate meetings, hearings, testimony, and logistics involving company leadership, legislators, township officials, and agency staff.
- Research regulations and precedents for new project sites and support project-specific regulatory strategy with the LD&E team.
- Compile status reports and briefing summaries for internal leadership and support special research projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Environmental Policy, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in government affairs, regulatory affairs, public policy, or a related support role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize technical and regulatory information for non-technical audiences.
- Excellent organization and the ability to manage multiple project deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, plus comfort with tracking and database tools.
- Some evening hours may be required to support public meetings.
Nice to have
- Experience in energy, infrastructure, data center, or utility sectors.
- Familiarity with Pennsylvania state and local government processes.
- Exposure to environmental and regulatory permitting processes.
