Director, Commerce

Location: USA - Remote

Salary: $135,000–$155,000 per year plus a discretionary performance bonus

What you will do

• Oversee commerce media, marketplace, and retail strategies across client accounts and new business opportunities.
• Manage senior client relationships, lead strategic presentations, and translate insights into decisions and next steps.
• Set standards for planning, activation, quality assurance, measurement, testing, and client communication.
• Guide teams in analyzing complex commerce performance data and connecting recommendations to client KPIs.
• Partner with Product, Analytics, Creative, Growth & Innovation, and other channels to improve workflows and reduce rework.
• Lead growth, retention, profitability, innovation, and talent development outcomes across the organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in commerce, ecommerce, retail media, or marketplace roles.
• 5+ years of experience leading individual contributors and/or managers, including coaching, performance management, quality review, and talent development.
• Strong familiarity with commerce media and marketplace ecosystems such as Amazon, Walmart, Criteo, and similar platforms.
• Experience guiding data interpretation, testing fundamentals, and measurement-informed decision-making.
• Ability to influence cross-functional partners and develop cohesive commerce strategies.
• Strong executive-ready storytelling, client presence, and alignment-building skills.
