Global Collections Specialist (Contract/Temp)

What you will do

• Monitor the Accounts Receivable inbox, resolve customer inquiries, and escalate complex billing issues.
• Create, verify, and distribute invoices in NetSuite and vendor portals including Ariba, Coupa, and Tipalti.
• Manage receivable ledgers, collect overdue balances, follow up with customers, and resolve billing disputes.
• Apply customer payments in NetSuite and reconcile them with bank records.
• Support Sales with customer purchase orders and vendor onboarding requests.
• Participate in process improvement, ad hoc analysis, revenue audits, and external auditor requests.

Requirements

• At least three years of Accounts Receivable experience and fundamental accounting knowledge.
• Experience resolving customer inquiries and billing disputes directly.
• Proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets, plus knowledge of accounting close processes.
• Strong attention to detail when reconciling order forms, purchase orders, and sales orders before invoicing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, prioritization, and ability to meet critical deadlines.
• Availability to start on short notice and commit to the full temporary assignment.

Nice to have

• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce in a SaaS business.
• Experience with Tesorio, Stripe, or cloud marketplace providers such as GCP, AWS, and Azure.
• Experience collaborating with international or remote colleagues across time zones.
