Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Budapest, XI.; on-site Monday to Thursday and remote on Fridays

What you will do

• Integrate current AI models into customer-facing features and workflows at scale.
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain software using Python, React, MySQL, AWS, and Kubernetes.
• Plan and scale distributed applications using synchronous and asynchronous design patterns.
• Improve existing codebases through framework modernization, testing, and proactive problem solving.
• Build tools and frameworks that automate development, testing, deployment, management, and monitoring of 24x7 services.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, QA, and other engineers throughout the full development lifecycle.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant software development experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with Python or a comparable language in developing, maintaining, and deploying software.
• Strong English and Hungarian communication skills.
• Familiarity with Python, Kubernetes, React, MySQL, and AWS.
• Experience working in an agile development environment.
• Ability to design well-organized, reliable software and scale distributed systems.
