Project Manager (Data Modernization)

What you will do

• Lead and manage data modernization projects in the wealth and asset management sectors.
• Define project scope, schedules, deliverables, and business alignment with data teams, technology partners, and stakeholders.
• Develop project plans and track progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate communication across cross-functional teams, senior management, and clients.
• Oversee quality control and validation for data migration and modernization activities.
• Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• 7+ years of project management experience, preferably in wealth or asset management data modernization.
• Strong understanding of data management concepts, modernization strategies, and related technologies.
• Experience with data migration, ETL processes, and data governance frameworks.
• Proficiency with project management tools and Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior executives and technical teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, Business, or a related field.

Nice to have

• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Advanced degree.
